2024: people came from over forty villages
這不是提案,是紀錄。2024 年 9 月,直貢澈贊法王首度蒞臨瑪南昆桑倫珠寺, 傳授大遷識法與長壽灌頂,上千信眾受法。
This is not a proposal; it is a record. In September 2024, His Holiness Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang came to Kunsang Lhundup Monastery in Manang for the first time, gave the Great Phowa transmission and the Amitayus long-life empowerment, and over a thousand people received it.
這是一場已經圓滿的法會,主法者是法王,與閉關園區計劃是兩件事。 放在這裡不是因為它是這個計劃的一部分,而是因為它證明了兩件這個計劃需要證明的事: 這個地方能匯聚人,而且當地人願意為它出力。
That was a completed teaching event, led by His Holiness — a separate thing from the retreat centre project. It appears here not as part of the project but because it demonstrates two things the project needs to demonstrate: that this place can gather people, and that the people who live here will work for it.

這一段回答了一個會被問的問題。 Kyung 只有三、四戶人家 —— 那這個計劃是不是太小、只服務幾個人?不是。整個區域的人都投入了,Kyung 是那個匯聚點。 四十多個村落的志工連續三週的勞動,是「這是為當地人蓋的」最有力的行為證據, 比任何說法都強。
This answers a question that will be asked. If Kyung has only three or four households, is this project too small — does it serve only a handful of people? No. The whole district turned out, and Kyung is where they gather. Three weeks of labour from volunteers of forty-odd villages is the strongest possible evidence that this is built for the people who live here — stronger than anything we could write.
還有一件事:那把弓還在
And one more thing: the bow is still there
法會第三天,法王帶眾人朝聖海拔 4,100 公尺以上的巖洞 —— 密勒日巴與獵人金剛護的修行處。法王向尊者所留的腳印頂禮, 並遠眺獵人留在洞口的弓。
On the third day, His Holiness led the pilgrimage above 4,100 metres to the cave where Milarepa and the hunter Khyira Gönpo Dorje practised. He prostrated to the footprint the master left there, and looked out at the bow the hunter left at the mouth of the cave.
所以「放下弓」不是隱喻。 那個洞、那把弓現在還在,是一個可以走到的地方。 對國際受眾,這把一個一千年前的故事變成一組座標。
So “he laid down his bow” is not a metaphor. The cave and the bow are still there, and you can walk to them. For an international audience, that turns a thousand-year-old story into a set of coordinates.
