奇美多傑仁波切簡介
今世尊貴的奇美多傑仁波切於一九八四年誕生於印度。仁波切降世之時，顯現出諸多吉祥瑞相。於一九九二年，尊貴的第三十七世直貢澈贊法王在強久林寺為仁波切主持坐床儀式，正式認證仁波切爲圓滿修行者噶奇美多傑之轉世。
前世仁波切是一位偉大的修行者，同時亦是觀世音菩薩的化身。當他圓滿修持後，出於對一切眾生的深切悲心，曾多次主持億次瑪尼心咒閉關法會，以弘揚慈悲與智慧之道。
憑藉強大的願力，仁波切於圓寂後再度轉世爲奇美多傑，誕生於印度。母親名爲昆桑曲珍，父親名爲蔣揚達巴。仁波切於印度德拉敦的強久林寺完成寺院基礎教育，並於澈贊法王與瓊贊法王以及噶千仁波切與眾多直貢大德處，領受了完整的灌頂、口傳與直貢噶舉傳承之口訣。
仁波切曾往西藏康區噶爾寺朝拜，並於喇榮五明佛學院深造學習。返印後，又於宗薩佛學院修學多年。在直貢澈贊法王的親自指導下，仁波切已圓滿完成直貢噶舉傳承的前行修持。
仁波切博學多聞，且對閉關禪修懷有極深的興趣，常將所學之法應用於實修之中。由於生長於現代社會，仁波切對當代修行者所面臨的種種困境抱持開放與包容之心。憑藉慈悲與智慧並行的風範，他成為現代難得一見的具德行者與卓越導師。

GarTul Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche
The present GarTul Chimi Dorjee Rinpoche was born in India in 1984, and auspicious signs attended his birth. In 1992 the Thirty-seventh Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche enthroned him at Jangchubling Monastery, formally recognising him as the reincarnation of the accomplished master Gar Chimi Dorjee.
The previous incarnation was a great practitioner and an emanation of Avalokiteśvara. Having completed his own practice, out of deep compassion for all beings he presided many times over hundred-million mani retreats, so that the path of compassion and wisdom would spread.
By the force of that aspiration he took birth again as Chimi Dorjee, in India. His mother is Kunsang Chödrön and his father Jamyang Dargye. He completed his monastic education at Jangchubling in Dehra Dun, and received the full empowerments, reading transmissions and pith instructions of the Drikung Kagyü lineage from H.H. Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche and H.H. Drikung Kyabgön Chungtsang Rinpoche, from Garchen Rinpoche, and from many other Drikung masters.
He made pilgrimage to Gar Monastery in Kham, eastern Tibet, and studied at Larung Gar. Returning to India, he studied for several years at the Dzongsar Institute. Under the personal guidance of H.H.
Drikung Kyabgön Chetsang Rinpoche he has completed the preliminary practices of the Drikung Kagyü lineage.
He is widely learned, and his own strongest interest is retreat: what he studies, he takes into practice. Having grown up in the modern world, he meets the difficulties of contemporary practitioners with an open and accommodating mind. Compassion and learning run together in him, which makes him a rare thing in this century, a qualified practitioner who is also a teacher people can reach.
